Bunny Buddies Mini Quilt - Sandy Springs
We will learn: How to cut out and mark fabric quilt pieces, chain piecing, to use the 1/4 piecing foot (to get those accurate 1/4 inch seams), what sashing is, to stitch-in-the-ditch (for quilting), bind your mini-quilt.
Total class time is 4 1/2 hours (half hour for lunch if desired).
$20.00 Kit fee will be paid to instructor on day of class. Fabric for 2 bunnies, background fabric, and batting will be provided in the kit from the instructor.
2 Bunny Quilt will be completed in class.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CLASS:
sewing machine
1/4 inch piecing foot
80/12 top stitching or quilting machine needle
white sewing thread
white bobbin thread
small snips/scissors
non-permanent marking tool/pen
rotary cutter and small mat
ruler (nothing smaller than 5 inches)
glass head pins
1/2 yard of quality 100% cotton for the back of your quilt
1/4 yard of quality 100% cotton for the binding of your quilt
