Learn heirloom sewing’s timeless techniques as you create a beautiful ruffled pillow cover and a changeable pillow sleeve with beautiful laces, Swiss embroideries, and puffing. This would be perfect as a ring bearer’s pillow, Christening pillow, or for your home. The cover’s lace edged ruffles peek out on either side of the sleeve. The pillow cover closes with a zipper so it can be removed for laundering. This project is for a 12 by 16 inch boudoir pillow form.
You will learn beginning heirloom sewing techniques, including sewing lace to fabric, joining laces/embroideries together, making “puffing” and others. The classic beauty of this style of sewing means that this pillow will be passed down in your family for generations to come.
Your kit (purchased separately)cost $25.00 will include fabric, zipper, lace, and Swiss embroideries to make the project. You will need to buy your own 12 by 16 inch pillow form to insert when you finish your project.
