Sergers are fast, fun, and give your projects a professional look. Join us for this hands-on exploration of our air thread sergers where we will explore cover stitch, cover hems, working with decorative threads, 2 and 3 thread flatlock, piping, inserting zippers and help you bond with that scary thing called a serger. You will make a cute purse!

Instructor Bio:
For over 30 years, Debi has been lecturing, teaching and sharing her passion for quilting and creating unique garments. Her artistic eye blends piecing, fabric weaving, machine embroidery, serger and many other embellishments to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces that inspire all who lay eyes on them. Debi's garments have been featured in five Fairfield/ Bernina Fashion shows. Her popular teaching style has landed her classes at Road to California, Glendale Quilt Show, Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion and Pfaff Dealer Conventions. In addition to teaching, she has published her own book, Binding Made Easy, and her work has been featured in several books and magazines, including Creative Machine Embroidery Nov/Dec 2014 and Designs in Machine Embroidery Nov/Dec 2018.
